Slideshows to download

Some "slideshow makers" have their own websites, and usually it's possible to download their works there. But most do not have a sitewhere you can  share them openly. But thanks to a few who graciously host PTE slideshows, this is possible with PTE. The earliest one - and the largest collection - is "Beechbrook Cottage", where Bill Hines hosts in turn at his website nearly a hundred slideshows from all over the world at any one time.No special qualification is needed: you upload your show to this URL, and wait the publication.

The French site Le Diaporama (ex-Fanaphot) of Michel Comte hosts on average 25-30 hi-quality slideshows, in French and some in English, at this address. Even if the site is in French, it's very easy to download the shows, since all what you have to do is to click of the thumbnail of the show.

Born from this site in the spring of 2005, the young Diapositif is a very interesting site, with about 150 (!) slideshows to download (almost all by French authors).

Another interesting French site with slideshows to download is "Espace Vision", that offers near 20 slideshows to download. The "diaporamas" (all French) are in general very good.

On the personal site of the French author Maurice Guidicelli you can (obviously) download the excellent diaporamas by Maurice himself, but this site hosts also several shows by his friends, some patiently reconstructed from "historical" slideshows on film. With the exception of two English AV sequences, all are in French (but often have sub-titles in English).

In France again, Vive le Diaporama starts to offer some very good slideshows to download.
