1. Because the files that it makes are executable (.exe). Nothing is required to play them besides a normal Personal Computer (PC, but not Mac) with any version of Windows: there are no visualization programs, no media players, no special libraries needed. Note that I said a "normal" PC: don't expect to run a slideshow on a Jurassic machine like a Pentium 90. Minimal requirements are low, but I won't exaggerate; at least a Pentium 3 or equivalent is necessary for a seamless show.

2. Because pictures and sounds (which are both embedded in .exe file) keep their original quality. PTE is a "hi-fi" software.

3. Because each picture can be synchronized to the soundtrack with 1/1000th sec accuracy.

4. Because it is extremely easy to use.

5. Because it doesn't require powerful computers or high system resources.

6. Because, thanks to some original tools (as the "objects"), it's possible to get unique, powerful features.

7. Because its size is very small (less than 1 MB if you don't consider the language files), and the installation doesn't add nor modify any system file: PTE is a stand-alone program.

8. Because you can even make your slideshows into a VCD (Video CD), SVCD (Super Video CD) or a DVD.

9. Because it can also create high quality screensavers.

10. Because you can choose between twenty menu languages.

11 Because the software is improved continuously (at least two new version per year).

12. Because the registration is for a lifetime (all future versions will be free).

13. Because whatever help you may need, great and willing forums (in English and in French) exist that are ready to help you within few hours.

14. Because it's shamefully inexpensive ($24, about 20 euros!).
